The Holy Prophet (PBUH) is also quoted about the night of resurrection on the night of Ghadr, who said: Whoever keeps the night of Ghadr alive at night, until the next night of Ghadr, the torment of Hell will be removed from him. Imam Musa ibn Ja'far (AS) also said about the night of Ghadr: Whoever bathes in the night of Ghadr and stays alive until dawn, his sins will be forgiven. All these narrations indicate that some destinies and rewards, such as avoiding the torment of Hell, are the result of the work of the servants themselves, and the fate of every human being is decided by himself on the Night of Destiny.
