Surah Jathiyah is the forty-fifth surah and one of the Meccan surahs, which is located in the 25th part of the Qur'an. This surah is called Jathiya, because in its verse 28, it is said that every nation will kneel on the Day of Resurrection to receive the letter of its deeds. Jathiya literally means kneeling.
