Surah Fussillat or Ham Sajdah is the forty-first surah and one of the Meccan and prostration surahs of the Qur'an, which is located in the 24th and 25th parts of the Qur'an. The word "Faslat" which means "expressed eloquently" is found in the third verse and that is why this surah is known by this name. Surah Faslat talks more about the turning away of disbelievers from the Qur'an. The oneness of God, the Prophet's (PBUH) prophecy, resurrection, and referring to the history of the people of Ad and Thamud are among the other topics raised in it. Among the famous verses of this sura is verse 34, which invites the Prophet to have a good behavior against the misbehavior of the infidels; Also, verses 41 and 42, which the commentators have said, are a proof of the incorruptibility of the Qur'an. About the virtue of reciting this surah, among other things, it has been narrated from the Prophet (PBUH) that whoever recites Surah Al-Fazlat, ten good deeds will be given to him, equal to the number of letters that make up this Surah.
