Surah Kafirun is the 109th surah and one of the Meccan surahs of the Quran, which is located in the 30th chapter. The reason why this surah is named after the unbelievers is to talk about the unbelievers. In this Surah, God orders the Prophet (PBUH) to declare his innocence of idolatry and to say that he will not be inclined towards their religion and will not compromise with them. It has been said that this surah was revealed when a group of unbelievers suggested that they should follow the religion of the Prophet (PBUH) for a while and that the Prophet (PBUH) should follow idolatry for a while.
