Surah Ahqaf is the forty-sixth surah and one of the Meccan surahs of the Qur'an, which is located in the 26th chapter. Ahqaf means sand field, it refers to the land of Aad tribe, which means the tribe of Hazrat Hud. Surah Ahqaf talks about the Resurrection and the position and status of believers and unbelievers in it and about the non-uselessness of the creation of this world and introduces God as capable of resurrecting the dead. In this surah, parents are advised about goodness. In the narrations, verse 15 of this sura was revealed about Imam Hussain (AS). It has been narrated about the virtue of reciting this Surah, among others, that whoever recites this Surah every night or every Friday, God will remove the fear of the world from him, and also protect him from the fear of the Day of Judgment.
